How to apply for a property

If you have seen a property you are interested in, then please contact your local branch on 01709 379444 to arrange a viewing.

To apply for a property, contact your local branch and an application form will be emailed to you or you can collect one from branch. Every person over the age of 18 who would be living at the property must complete an application form individually.

What happens once I have filled my application in?

All applications for the property are sent over to the Landlord to be reviewed and they will select who they would like to proceed with.

Once a potential Tenant is chosen by the Landlord, we can then do relevant credit and employment checks. It is at this stage you will be asked to provide a holding deposit, equivalent to one weeks rent. This secures the property for the applicant, subject to referencing.

If I am successful what are the next steps?

Once all checks are passed we will contact you for collection of the first months rent and bond. Afterwards we will arrange an inventory of the house (this is to document the standard the property is in prior to a new tenant and to ensure everything still meets legal requirements).

Moving day

Once a date is agreed you can collect your keys on the day and start moving your belongings in. If you would like any contact details for removal companies etc we have a large database of contractors and companies that we can suggest to you.

How to Report a Property Repair

The easiest and quickest way to do this is on your Tenant Portal where you can add photos and any other relevant information. It will also provide you with top tips on how to solve simple issues yourself.

TOP TIP: Report issues as soon as possible to ensure you don’t incur costs for unreported issues which become worse and cause damage!

Tenant Portal

Our mobile Tenant app allows you access to your property 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It helps you stay up to date with anything to do with your property!

The app has push notifications that will alert you immediately about anything to do with your tenancy!
